General
How does the promotion work?
Unique codes are featured on promotional packs. You can find a unique 8-digit code underneath the ringpull of promotional cans or underneath the label of promotional bottles or underneath the latex panel on scratchcards.
Text the code to 62948 (UK only) and you will be notified if you are a winner or loser at the end of the draw period. If you do not have a mobile phone you can enter your promotional code by logging onto www.pepsi.co.uk/kicks and follow the instructions.
Will there be a code on every can or bottle?
Codes will be printed as above on all promotional packs. There will be around 100 million packs produced.
How many prizes are there to be won?
£1000 to be won every 90 minutes between 09:00 and 00:00 every day from 22.04.08 until 21.05.08. There will be £300,000 to be won during the course of the promotion.

Are you limited to the amount of prizes you can win?
There is no limit to the number of entries per mobile number/web entry but each code can be used only once and only one code can be sent per text message/web entry. There is no limit to the number of times an entrant can win.
How long is the promotion running for?
Draws will be taking place every 90 minutes between 09:00 and midnight from 22.04.08 until 21.05.08 with the first draw closing on 24.04.08 at 10.30 and the last 90 minute draw closing on 21.05.08 at midnight. Draws will close at the following times: 10:30; 12:00; 13:30; 15:00; 16:30; 18:00; 19:30; 21:00; 22:30 and 00:00.
Text entries received after midnight on 21.05.08 date will go into monthly prize draws at midnight on 30th of each month until 30.12.08 to win £1000 (online entry will not be available after the final draw on 21.05.08).
All valid entries received before 09:00 on 22.04.08 will be entered into the first draw. All valid entries received in the 90 minute period preceding the draw time will be entered into that draw. No entries will be accepted after the promotional closing date of midnight on 30.12.08
What do I do with my code?
You will need to txt your code to 62948 (UK only). Alternatively, you can enter your code on www.pepsi.co.uk/kicks to be entered into the next 90 minute draw after your code is received. Codes received after 00:00 between 22.04.08 and 21.05.08 will be entered into the first draw of the following day. Codes received after 00:00 on 21.05.08 will be entered into the next monthly draw.
What number do I text it to?
Text your 8 digit code to 62948 (shortcode number available on all UK mobile networks excluding those in Isle of Man and Channel Islands.) The charge for this will be 25p (inc. VAT) plus standard network rate. All text messages received are free.
I do not possess a mobile phone, how else can I enter your promotion?
You can enter online at www.pepsi.co.uk/kicks. Simply enter the 8-digit code from your pack and you will be entered into the next available 90 minute draw. Text /web entries will be put into a draw based on the time the text message/web entry is received by the draw engine
I do not have a mobile phone or computer, how do I enter?
Entry is via text or email. Perhaps you could try an Internet café or library or use a friends or family members’ computer to log onto the web site at www.pepsi.co.uk/kicks to register your entry.
How will I know if I have won or not?
All entrants will receive an entry confirmation message via the same method as entry e.g. On screen when entering through website via sms. At the end of each draw, entrants will receive a further message by the same method indicating if they are a winner or not (web entrants will receive an email and SMS entrants will receive an SMS). Winners will be contacted within 3 working days by the method used to enter the promotion.
I missed my winning telephone call-what happens now?
All reasonable effort will be made to contact winners, however, if the winner cannot be contacted within 28 days an alternative winner may be chosen.

I thought by texting my code I would automatically win a prize?
We are pleased to learn that you have taken part in this promotion but sorry that you have not been a winner on this occasion. Each code entitles you 1x entry into the next draw after your code is received, so the more codes you enter the more chances you have of winning.
When is the best time to send my entry to maximise my chance of winning?
During the promotion we will be advising consumers when the busiest times were during the past few days on www.pepsi.co.uk/kicks.
I have tried to call the helpline to claim my prize but can’t get through?

How can I obtain a code without purchasing a Pepsi?
UK consumers are given the opportunity to participate in the promotion without making a purchase, please see point below.
What packets will be featured in this promotion?
This promotion will be featured on promotional packs of 330ml, 6 x 330ml, 500ml, 2 litre, 1.5 litre and 4 x 2 litre packs of Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Pepsi Max and Pepsi Max Twist.
Who does the promotion target?
The promotion is open to UK residents 16 years old and over only, excluding residents of the Isle of Man and Channel Islands, employees and their families of PepsiCo Inc., Britvic Soft Drinks Ltd or their affiliated companies, their agents or anyone professionally connected with this promotion.
Do I have to be over 18 to enter the promotion?
No you do not have to be over 18 to enter the promotion. However players under 16 are not eligible to enter the promotion.
Where can I buy promotional packs?
Promotional packs will be widely available in your local retail outlets and most supermarkets.
How are consumer complaints for this promotion being handled?
Customer complaints are handled by Brtivic Soft Drinks Ltd Consumer Care department Tel 0800 0321767 or use our online Consumer Care enquiries form.

How will I be able to obtain a code through the No Purchase Necessary Route?
To enter with the same chance of winning, send a stamped postcard with your name and mobile phone number to, Pepsi MAX Kicks, PO Box 1000, Warrington, WA4 6YB. You will be entered into the next draw from when your entry is processed and entered into our draw engine. A confirmation text message will be sent to let you know which 90 minute draw you are in. Alternatively ask in participating outlets stocking dispensed Pepsi or 300ml packs for a promotional scratchcard with entry code.
Can I play outside of the UK?
This promotion is only open to residents of the UK excluding residents of the Isle of Man and Channel Islands
Can I use a friend’s mobile or PC if I don’t have my own?
Yes, that is fine, but if it is not yours you must get the owners permission.
Will you be accepting text messages after the closing date?
No, we will not be accepting entries after the closing date. All entries must be received by 00:00 on 31.12.08.
I have sent my text but not received a response?
It maybe that some of the networks are experiencing delays, or your inbox could be full, or it could be that you have inadvertently sent your text to the wrong number. Please make ensure that you text your code to 62948.
We would suggest you try to enter your code again, if this has already been used you will be advised accordingly in the txt response we will send you.
I have entered via the website but have not received any emails?
When entering via the website your will be asked for some personal information including your email address. We send emails to the address provided but cannot be responsible for the email be routed in to spam folders, being blocked by your ISP/Business. We suggest that you check your spam folders as well a double checking that you have provided a correct email address. If you provide an incorrect email address you will not get an email

Should you not wish to receive any texts. Text in the code and follow it with ‘STOP’. We will only be able to contact you in relation to Win £1000 promotion and whether you have won or lost.
Prize Issues
I have not received my prize yet-what do I do?
Winners cheques to the value of £1000 will be despatched to winners as soon as possible by our handling agency within 28 days.
I have won a prize but not received it yet?
Please rest assured that your details are registered and your prize will be with you shortly.
If I enter by the web entry route, how will I know if I have won?
Once you have entered your code on www.pepsi.co.uk/kicks you will receive an email to confirm if you have won or lost.
